Betherlot's pipits
An endemic bird living in arid areas, farmland, pine forests, hillsides and on the coast
The Berthelot's pipit (Anthus berthelotii) is named after the naturist Sabino Betherlot and is an endemic species in Tenerife. It is easily recognisable for its small head, prominent wide chest and its white and black colouring.
