This military museum, established in 1988, lies within the Almeida quarter of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and is amongst the best cartography research centres in the Canaries. Presenting an impressive range of armaments and objects collected from the Islands’ military history.
The exhibit includes the uniforms and other personal items of respected military personnel, models of military constructions, collections of arms used by the Guanches and the Spanish during the confrontations throughout the conquest of Tenerife at the end of the XV century, as well as various oil paintings and water colours by renowned Canary artists.
